IVP~

Wohoho, first day of IVP! Today overall was over than expectation!=) Although not many won the competition, but they broke their p.b, gave it all out, all their best in the competition that they are in. That the running spirit that every runner should have. Not giving up in the competition but perserving throughout the competition. One thing really touched me today. Shall talk about it later. Reported to school at 11 tgt with siao. Ate lunch there then waited for everyone to arrive, b4 boarding the bus. Bus journey was super bored, just listen to music throughout the whole journey! Arrived at bukit gombak stadium, and so concidental geraldine arrive at that time too! Went in and saw rui, daryl, lynn. Soon around 1 plus everyone came. Race flag off at 2.15. NYP did not send any one to run for the race. Race after race it came and went. Supported all our NYP teammates throughout the race day. They really pushed themselves to their limit. Subaish didnt came, and was like expecting marcus to win the 800m race, but he did his best and came in 3rd. First medal for NYP^^ jiarui 200m heats, ran 4th and she qualified for finals. Happy for her! During 200m finals, ok, there's always runners that are above u, so overall her position 7th, with a timing of around 29 sec of what we time! Around 5 went to fetch lala, char and shuyi to gombak stadium. When i went up, saw philip pulled out from the race. Didnt know the reasons why, but can see he was in pain. Mr guru rushed over, but philip did not gave up his motivation to complete his race despite all the pains that he is suffering for. Completed the race, suffering super tight calf muscle, as he ran with spikes and didnt do a full heel landing. Mok Yin Ren was obviously first for the 5km, and he clocked in 15:50. Kevin and philip both did a great job, even though he pulled out for awhile, he still didnt completed the race last. Next was 400m, malik event, with his motivation sitting there. 52 sec was what he was aiming for, but he eventually didnt made it there but at least he broke his p.b with a timing of 54.66. Great acheivement. Jia rui next, broke her p.b by 5 sec despite running so many races in the morning already. Clocked in a timing of 70 secs, and she's into the final! Pei ru ran too, and she's super blur, cause she didnt know how to set blocks so finally one of the empire helped her. Didnt check her clock in timing but it was a good effort. So next week, the showdown of both malik and jia rui! Grats to them getting into the finals! And congrats to akid for attaining a sliver in javelin with a distance of 49.50m! Ohh ya, one guy broke the javelin IVP record. Grats to him too though i not sure who is he. Headed to akid house, eat play then headed home. Had an enjoyable day today with all my classmates track mates and char! Event up in 6 more day! good luck to me.
